Our Story 

Dusk Jewellery is a Dubai-based handmade fashion jewellery line focused on elegant, effortless, everyday styling; founded by a Sri Lankan creator/designer whose passion lies within creativity, design, and all things handmade and beautiful. Inspired by gemstones, the breathtaking hues of the desert dusk and the modern elegance and diversity of the vibrant surroundings, her creations are translated into stylish jewellery made from ethically sourced high-quality materials; with the ‘everyday woman’ in mind.

Hi, I am Dishna - Designer/Creator and Founder of Dusk Jewellery Design.

 

My passion for jewellery design began over a decade ago; when I had taken a break from my corporate career to raise my beautiful family and started exploring the creative side of me. I enjoyed making various types of jewellery; learning and experimenting with different mediums and techniques throughout the initial years of my jewellery-making journey and started selling them at local fairs & events in 2011.

​

 

I draw my inspiration from gemstones and crystals, the beautiful hues of the desert dusk and the vibrant environment; I live in. My collections are designed with the 'Everyday Woman' in mind to elevate their style and add a touch of sparkle to their daily life. With an eye for shapes, shades and style, I love working with colourful and unique components for my creations; and I incorporate natural stones and premium crystal glass stones set in either gold-filled or gold-plated/rhodium-plated metals in my collections.  Upcycling old gemstone bead jewellery with a new twist is something that I enjoy and encourage doing to reduce waste.
