Our Story 

Dusk Jewellery is a Dubai-based handmade fashion jewellery line focused on elegant, effortless, everyday styling; founded by a Sri Lankan creator/designer whose passion lies within creativity, design, and all things handmade and beautiful. Her creations are inspired by the breathtaking hues of the desert dusk and the modern elegance and diversity of her vibrant surroundings, and are translated into stylish pieces of jewellery with the ‘everyday woman’ in mind.

Hi, I am Dishna - Designer/Creator and Founder of Dusk Jewellery Design.

 

My passion for jewellery design began over a decade ago; when I had taken a break from my corporate career to raise my beautiful family and started exploring the creative side of me. I enjoyed making various types of jewellery; learning and experimenting with different mediums and techniques throughout the initial years of my jewellery-making journey and started selling them at local fairs & events in 2011.

I draw my inspiration from the beautiful hues of the desert dusk and the vibrant environment I live in. My collections are designed with the 'Everyday Woman' in mind to help them add a touch of sparkle to their daily life. With an eye for shapes, shades and style, I love working with colourful and elegant components for my creations and incorporate glass and natural stones set in gold/rhodium-plated metals for my collections.

​

The Wedding Jewellery collection was created when I was approached by a couple of brides-to-be to get some custom earrings and bracelets done for themselves and their bridesmaids. I recognized the need for quality custom-made fashion jewellery in Dubai for bridal parties when I realized how relieved and happy they were with my pieces and the personalised service offered to them. It is an exciting and enjoyable process to work with brides-to-be to bring their ideas to life for their special day.

Dusk Jewellery is lovingly handmade to order with great care and attention to detail for elegant, effortless, everyday styling. I believe that jewellery is a fine expression of one's self and it complements what's already there; letting you tell your story with confidence.
